The Pawnee Fire Protection District can provide up to Paramedic level care based on staffing levels at the time.
Squad 2078 & Ambulance 2079 carries all BLS level equipment and when necessary our Ambulance 2079 is upgraded to provide care at the ILS or ALS level.
All of our First Responders, EMTs, EMT-Intermediates, and Paramedics are State and/or Nationally Certified.

ESTABLISHED IN 1902
The Pawnee Fire Department has grown to cover approximately 110 square miles. Spread across Sangamon, Montgomery and Christian Counties we provide firefighting, rescue and emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of our district.
